Description

PFI-type laboratory refiner, equipment designed to refine pulp under standardized conditions and even for the defiberization of semi-cooked fibers

  • The refining mill and the cylindrical container are made of stainless steel.
  • It can refine between 5 – 40 g of pulp in a concentration of 5 to 50% (max. 450 ml of suspension).
  • Excellent repeatability, to be used in quality control and research.
  • Safety elements for user and equipment protection.
  • Raising and lowering of the refining cylinder by electric automatic maneuver.
  • Easy to operate, with pre-selection of the number of revolutions of the refining mill and automated process.
  • Adjustable refining pressure, from 1.0 to 5.5 N/mm of cutting blade length.
  • Calculation of times, power absorbed in watts (continuous measurement) and energy consumed in kilowatts/hour during the refining process.
  • Modern design, easy to clean and functional, with all measurement and actuation instruments integrated in a raised front control panel.
  • Millimetric screw for adjusting the grinder-vessel separation in grinding.
  • Built-in emptying drain for sample collection after each test.
  • CE marked.
  • Paper pulp.
