{"id":1402,"count":5,"description":"Surgical Implants \u2013 Malleable wires for use as sutures and other surgical applications.\r\nThis International Standard specifies the dimensions and mechanical properties of malleable wires for use as sutures and other forms of fixation of tissue and implants in surgery and provides test methods. The specified mechanical properties are tensile strength, elongation, and resistance to damage in bending and torsion.\r\n\r\nGRADES\r\n\r\nFor such surgical applications, it is essential that the wire can be twisted or knotted without fracturing or developing cracks or cracks on its surface.\r\n\r\n2 Malleable wires can be used in close conjunction with other implants. In these circumstances, it is important that stainless steel wire of compositions D and \u0395 (see ISO 5832-1) is only used in connection with implants made of corresponding stainless steel, and wires made of high-carbon stainless steel. Nitrogen should only be used in connection with stainless steel implants with high nitrogen content. This will reduce the possibility of galvanic corrosion occurring between the leads and the implant.","link":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/iso\/1-2-3\/iso-10334\/","name":"ISO 10334","slug":"iso-10334","taxonomy":"iso","parent":1395,"meta":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/iso\/1402","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/iso"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/iso"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/iso\/1395"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product?iso=1402"},{"href":"https:\/\/techlabsystems.com\/eng\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/normas?iso=1402"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
