Flexural tests may be used to demonstrate the design when the joints are intended for use in buried applications or are intended for use in particular situations where the tests may be considered appropriate.\r\nWith the exception of bending tests, these test procedures are applicable to joints between pipe and fittings of all nominal sizes. The bending tests are applicable to joints between pipes and accessories up to and including DN 600.
