Description
Equipment designed to make standardized notches on samples, which are subsequently subjected to mono-axial impact resistance tests, according to the CHARPY and IZOD procedures.
- The standard supply includes the following two blades, both with a fixed angle of 45º ± 1º:
– 1 Type “A” blade: radius 0.25 mm ± 0.05mm
In accordance with regulations: Charpy ISO 179, Charpy ASTM D6110, Izod ISO 180, Izod ASTM D256.
– 1 Type “B” blade: radius 1 mm ± 0.05mm
In accordance with regulations: Charpy ISO 179 and Izod ISO 180. - Built-in analog micrometer for measuring notch depths from 0-25 mm with a resolution of 0.01 mm
